Lord Atisha's most celebrated text, entitled Lamp for the Path to Enlightment, sets forth the entire Buddhist path within the framework of three levels of motivation on the part of the practitioner. His Eminence Gyalrong Khentrul Rinpoche was born in 1978 in Dalhousie, in the northern pat of India. At the age of nine, he was recognized by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama as the rreincarrnation of the legendary Gyalrrong Khensurr Rinpoche, abbot of Drrepung Loseling in Tibet durring the 1950s.
